Top Paint Colors for the Light, Bright & Airy Home

I’ve recently started working with a client that purchased a new home a few weeks ago and she called me, sounding so frustrated and lost. Come to find out, she was stuck on the Struggle Bus trying to decide what paint colors she should select for her home.

Selecting paint colors can be really daunting because, 1. There are thousands of colors to pick from and 2. If you’re paying someone to paint the interior of your home, that’s big bucks. I’ve had a number of friends pay a professional to paint their entire house only to discover they HATED the color once it was on the wall.

Every single one of them halted the painter and called in a change-order halfway through the job. Not only does that set a homeowner back in time, it also costs a lot of money to change everything and start over.

The goal of my client is to have a light, bright and airy feel to her home and requested I share with her some of my favorite go-to whites, grays and neutrals. I’ve compiled a selection of my favorite Benjamin Moore paint colors that are not only my tried and true go-to’s, but also colors use in my own home.
