My name is Kristy, and I’m so happy you're here.
I'm the creative mind behind A Home's Journey. Starting from my childhood days where I had my little pink bedroom in our California rancher, I would always be dreaming of new ways to redecorate and rearrange my room. This unrealized passion followed me through my college days at CAL Berkeley and into my early professional life, where I found joy in decorating my various apartments. Despite this, a career in the home industry never crossed my mind. I ventured into the corporate world, selling technology for 15 years at a globally-renowned company, Apple, where I gained invaluable insights from industry leading professionals in sales, marketing, and design.
The unexpected twists of 2020 marked a turning point for me. Embracing change, I left my established corporate career to embark on a new journey that resonated with my true passion. This leap of faith led me to blend my expertise in technology with my love for interior design, launching a venture that fulfills my aspirations and accommodates my role as a devoted single mother to my two children.
Supporting designers in realizing their business dreams has turned out to be a natural transition from my corporate role at Apple where I worked side-by-side with and trained thousands of sales people, teaching them how to sell Apple products and how to talk to their customers to uncover additional business opportunities.
