A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a newly renovated kitchen for a client in Edgewater, Maryland. The space was absolutely stunning and offered so much thoughtful detail throughout the kitchen. I must say this design was executed perfectly!

My small but mighty contribution to the design was the suggestion to incorporate a transom over the pantry door. A transom helps elevate the height of the pantry door and helps keep the door in proportion to the height of the upper cabinetry, refrigerator and range hood throughout the room. I referred the client to Transoms Direct for sourcing the transom. It turned out perfectly!

I’m beginning to think that transoms might be my signature thing.
